GUTU–A man from Eastdale Farm in Gutu has appeared before Masvingo Magistrate Patience Madondo for allegedly pushing his finger into an eight-year-old girl’s private part.
Francis Chikomo pleaded not guilty to the indecent assault charge and the State is represented by Tanaka Mandebvu.It is the State case that on December 30 ,2021 Chikomo met the complainant in the grazing fields while the juvenile was driving her parents’ cattle home since it was just about to rain. Chikomo grabbed the girl and pulled down her skirt. He forcibly inserted his fingers into the complainant’s private part, according to the State. The complainant tried to scream but the accused threatened to unleash his dogs on her. The complainant finally bolted from Chikomo and went and reported the matter to her parents who took the case to the Police. Chikomo pleaded not guilty on all the allegations.
